Shiri@wonder-girl.orgMy name is Shiri Appleby and I was born on December 7, 1978. Since then, I've been working on making an impact on the world.
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley area of the world-famous Los Angeles County. I attended and graduated from Calabasas High School in Calabasas, taking on jobs such as a hostess at a gourmet restaurant, and engaging in extracurricular activities like cheerleading.
Throughout my life, I have taken parts in entertainment productions. Although I took a break from acting during high school, I once again felt the bug while attending a prestigious Southern California University, USC.
I've appeared in a wide array of film projects, like "The Other Sister" and "A Time For Dancing," in addition to making several television appearances on well-established programs like "7th Heaven" and "ER". One of my biggest accomplishments was landing the role of Liz Parker on the WB's hit television series, "Roswell." Supposedly I did an astounding job of playing the remarkable Liz Parker, a young woman who is shot while working at her father's café and saved from death by a mysterious classmate, Max Evans (played by Jason Behr). Liz Parker soon learns that Max, her lab partner, is an alien, with ties to the infamous crash near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.
While I continue to breathe life into the character of Liz Parker, I have been able to accomplish other tasks, such as community service. The March 2001 issue of Seventeen recently followed me in one of my many community activities, reading to children at the local public library.
